Short bio
Ema is an artist and researcher from Chaves.
She holds a master's degree in Computer Animation from the School of Arts of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and in both her research and artistic practice she explores different media, especially photography, live-action and animation cinema.
Recently, she has worked with the studios Animais AVPL, Pinguim Atrevido and Ocidental Filmes on film and television projects. She is a founding member of the collective Piquenique na Lua, is part of the BEAST International Film Festival organizing committee, and is a mentor for the FRAME educational service project at the CINANIMA Festival.
